Wide span systems for cable routing under the toughest conditions

Frequently, in industrial, systems engineering or other technical companies, very large volumes of cables must be routed on cable support systems. In doing so, the structural circumstances require very large spans for the cable trays or cable ladders. These challenges require specially designed cable support systems, which can accept large volumes of cables with a high weight, in spite of large support spacings. The wide span system product range at a glance

The product range of the wide span systems comprises cable trays and cable ladders with widths of between 200 and 600 mm and side heights of 110 to 200 mm. With the strip galvanised and hot-dip galvanised surfaces and the A2 and A4 stainless steel materials, the systems are designed for all kinds of situations in an industrial environment. Thus, the routing systems can also withstand strong corrosive loads, depending on the version. 

Of course, various fittings and connectors are also available, in order to create horizontal and vertical changes of direction, branches and bends on the construction site. Add-on tees, corner extension pieces for tees and round corners for large bend radii are available for the cable trays, as are 90° bends. In the case of the cable ladders, cross-overs, tees, 90° bends and rising and falling vertical bends can be installed. With the trays and ladders, accessories include, amongst other things, angle connectors, adjustable connectors and barrier strips. The matching covers can be installed/attached particularly easily using the pre-mounted turn buckles.

Secure mounting in any environment

The wide span systems are mounted on brackets on concrete walls or are suspended from the ceiling. The support systems for the cable trays and ladders are specially designed for the requirements when mounting high loads. The wide span systems are also particularly suitable for, and are frequently used in, buildings with a steel skeleton framework. Here, special fastening materials are available, such as clamping angles and adapter plates, in order to mount the wide span systems safely on the steel girders.
