OBO supports aid project for the civilian population of Ukraine
Reliable power supply in mobile warm rooms
Ansgar Frommeyer from the aid organisation "Rolling Hospital" had a simple yet brilliant idea for supporting the Ukrainian civilian population: He converted a total of 12 buses into mobile warm rooms. These offer people the opportunity to warm up, have a cup of tea or quickly recharge their mobile phones – small, everyday things which can make a huge difference to the civilian population of Ukraine.
When OBO heard of the project, it was immediately clear that we wished to support Ansgar Frommeyer and his project. It quickly became clear what form this support would take: OBO made the necessary installation material available for the power supply of the rolling warm rooms. This means that the buses now contain device installation trunking, device installation sockets, socket units, trunking covers and end pieces.
You can find all the information on the mobile warm rooms here. Did you know that OBO supports countless social and cultural sustainability projects? These include, for example, the Christoph Bettermann Schools in Uganda and the Diospi Suyana mission hospital in Peru. Take a look here. We are also active in the fields of ecological and economic sustainability and, under the motto "Think further. Act sustainably." we are pushing forward countless initiatives and measures.
